Understanding Biblical Repentance
All people need an understanding of the right response one should have toward the Gospel - that of repentance. In short, we were dead, but are now alive because of Christ. This course will focus on being dead to the world but alive in Christ as we enter His Kingdom. Additionally, this class will look into the origin of the word, the process of repentance, and the fruit that makes one right with God and others. Come learn and observe repentance in a greater context.
Lesson 1 - Brief Introduction to Repentance where we take a look into where every christian, new to the faith, will start in their Journey with Jesus. Exploring the origin of the doctrine of repentance, and see it in it's greater context.
First lesson sets up discourse for subsequent lessons that come after.
Lesson 2 - The Beginning of God's Kingdom in us. This is the continuation of the discourse started from Lesson 1, looking at the beginning of the ministry of Jesus to see where the preaching of repentance starts, why repentance is biblical, why it is quintessential in the life of a believer and, how this contrasts with other belief systems in the world in simple terms.
This, then connects us with attaining God's grace to go out into the world and share with others the Kingdom message of repentance, in spite of the same opposition we will face that Jesus also withstood. Walk through the Door!
